Two ‘debauch’ teachers suspended for sending vulgar texts to girl students | KNO

Education Department Thursday suspended two teachers for sending immoral texts on cell phones to girl students here at a North Kashmir school.

Posted at Government Boys High School Hangha Mawar area of North Kashmir’s Handwara town, these teachers have been identified as Raja Shamsul Islam and a physical teacher Ishaq Malik. Deputy Chief Education Officer Handwara told news agency CNS that they received a representation from a group of parents that a group of teachers send their daughters who are students at the school vulgar texts on cell phones.

“Accordingly, I arranged a surprise visit along with Principal Higher Secondary School Qalamabad, Zonal Education Officer Mawar in presence of Sarpanch and other representatives of the village to ascertain the facts.” “The complaint was found genuine and both the teachers involved in immoral acts were placed under suspension. One accused teacher Raja Shamsul Islam will work in Middle School Dogripora under ZEO Rajwar now while another accused Ishaq Malik is suspended and attached in High School Hengnikot Villgam,” Deputy CEO said.

He said that a thorough inquiry has been initiated and a two member committee comprising Farooq Ahmed Malik, Principal GHSS Handwara and Syed Muhammad Farooq Lecturer BHSS Zachaldara has been constituted. “The committee will enquire and put forth report and recommendations within seven days for necessary action,” he said.
